Brighten up your winter with lovely colourful annuals grown on site by

Amber Garden Centre

Mandarin Silverhill ripening on the tree in the Garden Centre.

An early ripening Satsuma that has thick skinned, easy peel, sweet and juicy fruit with segments that easily separate. This variety grows well in cooler areas.

Now we have had a few cooler nights, it should be the end of those dreaded white butterflies, its now time to plant your brassicas – cabbages, broccoli, flower sprouts, cauliflower
Feijoas are a very versatile plant, they will screen out the neighbour or an unwanted view.  Plant them where you can take full advantage of the stunning flowers over Christmas or the delicious fruit from autumn to early winter.

The uses for Feijoas are numerous from simply eating fresh, cooked in puddings and cakes or made into scrumptious relishes.

Plant in pairs or groups, making sure you have early, mid and late season vaireties to keep you going into the winter.

Liquid feed citrus, shrubs, flowers and vegetables now.  Give your plants the food they need to produce through winter and get nourishment to produce their flowering buds into the spring.
