Acer Palmatum ‘Bloodgood’

In spring, leaves are a very deep red colour that holds well throughout summer and does not ‘bronze-out’ as many other red-leaved forms do. The underside of the leaves is usually a shiny, dark green. Autumn colouring is typically a bright crimson shade. Maturity 6m+

Acer Palmatum ‘Butterfly’

This culivar is variegated (multi-coloured) with a cream or whitish colour on a bluish-grayish green or pale green base. In spring, light pink markings that border the cream portions are noticeable. During autumn, white areas become a striking magenta. Maturity 3 – 4m

An outstanding feature of this culticar is the persistent deep red colour of the foliage. The Crimson Queen carries the deep red colour throughout the entire growing season. A slightly unusual cultivar in that it’s colouring is a deeper green than most other green dissectums. Early spring colour of yellow-green is soon replaced by the deeper green it holds throughout summer, before turning bright burgundy-red in the autumn. Maturity 1 – 1.5m

Spring leaves are a bright reddish-purple, becoming a deeper purple-red durng summer. This colour lightens to crimson through autumn months. Maturity 4 – 5m
